Lavender Hill Nursery opened for business in 2001. The owner, Allison Blades started with one greenhouse which also housed the check-out counter. There are now three greenhouses and a cold frame. His wife Madeline attends to the accounting, payroll and also works in the greenhouse. Some of the other employees have changed over the years, but the business has been fortunate to have had dedicated individuals that enjoyed working with the plants and cared about customer service.

Our purpose has always remained a constant – to provide customers with quality plants, friendly service, and advice whenever necessary. We enjoy fulfilling customer’s special orders – whether it is vegetable & flower starter plants for some of our summer residents who are not here early enough to start their own, or those sought-after shrubs, trees or plants not usually in our inventory. Please contact us in the fall to place these orders or to reserve hanging baskets.

Our mission is to provide our customers with a wide variety of annuals, perennials, shrubs & trees. Customer service is very important to us. We hope each of our customers has a pleasant shopping experience at Lavender Hill Nursery. We will gladly offer advice whenever needed. We appreciate our customer’s input, knowledge and advice.
